Care guide

Follow these quick care steps to keep your Natural Park gear performing as designed. Easy to read, simple to follow, and designed to help your kit last longer.

Machine wash cool (30°C)

Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent.

Avoid fabric softeners

They reduce moisture-wicking and water repellency.

Close zips, turn inside out

Close zips, wash inside out, line dry.

Keep heat low

Heat can damage fibres. Avoid tumble drying and radiators.

Follow the care label

If label and this guide differ, follow the label.

Check pockets before washing. Remove belts, cords, and detachable parts.

Fleeces

Wash with similar colours on a gentle cycle at 30°C.
No softeners or bleach. Avoid dry cleaning.
Air dry flat. Do not iron. Brush lightly to revive loft.

Down jackets

Use down-specific cleaner. Run an extra rinse to remove residue.
Dry low with clean dryer balls to restore loft. Check and break up clumps during drying.
Store uncompressed in a cool, dry place.

Waterproof shells

Close all zips and hook-and-loop areas. Wash at 30°C with technical cleaner.
No softeners. Rinse well. Line dry, then low heat for 10 minutes to reactivate DWR if label allows.
Reproof when water stops beading using a spray-on or wash-in treatment compatible with the membrane.

Trousers and shorts

Wash inside out at 30°C. Fasten zips and snaps.
Avoid high heat. Line dry. Cool iron only if label allows.
For DWR fabrics, reproof when needed.

T-shirts & tops

Wash cool and gentle. Turn inside out to reduce pilling and fading.
No bleach or optical brighteners.
Dry flat to maintain shape when possible.

Socks & accessories

Wash at 30°C. Avoid softeners with merino blends.
Do not tumble dry. Dry flat away from heat.

Footwear

Brush off dirt after use. Wipe with a damp cloth.
Dry naturally. Keep away from radiators and direct sun.
Reproof leather or fabric with a suitable product as needed.

Bags & duffles

Spot clean with mild soap. Avoid full machine wash unless label permits.
Air dry fully before storage.

Blankets

Machine wash cool on gentle. No softeners. Line dry.
Do not iron. Store clean and dry.

Changing robes

Wash separately on a gentle 30°C cycle.
Avoid softeners. Hang dry to protect waterproof coatings.
